English Language (Expected Level – Easy to Moderate)
(i) Reading Comprehension –10 Questions – Level – Moderate
Note: In SBI PO 2015 Prelims exam the reading comprehension passage was lengthy and of moderate to difficult level. The passage was based on Economics news.
(ii) Cloze Test – 5 Questions (Easy)
(iii) Para-jumbles – 5 Questions (Easy)
(iv) Spotting Error – 5 Questions (Easy to Moderate)
(v) Fill in the blanks /Sentence Improvement – 5 Questions (Easy)
Reasoning Ability (Expected Level – Moderate)
(i) One Seating Arrangement (Circular/Square – Inward & Outward) – 5 Questions (Moderate to Difficult)
Note: In SBI PO 2015 Prelims exam – Seating Arrangement question was bit tricky and of moderate to difficult level
(ii) Linear Arrangement (6 people seating in two rows facing North & South) – 5 Questions (Easy to Moderate)
(iii) Puzzle (Floor) – 5 Questions (Moderate)
(iv) Syllogism – Easy – 5 Questions (Easy)
(v) Coding Decoding – 5 Questions (Easy)
(vi) Inequality – 5 Questions – (Easy)
(vii) Miscellaneous Questions – 5 Questions (Moderate)
Miscellaneous Questions includes – Logical Reasoning, Blood Relations, Ranking, Direction Test, etc.
Note: In SBI PO 2015 Prelims question on Miscellaneous topics was tricky and indirect and of moderate level.
Quantitative Aptitude (Expected Level – Moderate)
(i) 2 Data Interpretation – 10 Questions (Easy to Moderate)
Note: In SBI PO 2015 Prelims Exam – One D.I. was easy and other D.I. of moderate level which involved lot of calculation.
(ii) Quadratic Equation – 5 Questions (Easy)
(iii) Number Series – 5 Questions (Easy)
(iv) Simplification /Approximation – 5 – 6 Questions (Easy)
(v) Miscellaneous questions – 14 – 15 Questions (Moderate)
Note: In SBI PO 2015 Prelims Exam – The level of the miscellaneous questions was of moderate level. The questions were tricky and calculative.
Miscellaneous questions includes – Profit Loss, Average, Simple & Compound Interest, Age, Ratio & Proportion, Time and Speed
